It can involve HTML, CSS, PHP, and JS. It shouldn't be too complicated due to my n00b status in web design. I want multiple people to be able to interact with each other using the finished product.
Those are the only constraints. Shoot.
peer to peer extortion racket. you know for kidnapping and blackmail
Create a CSS filter that allows me to color-and-font pick my own Hubski page. Allow me to save and publish my combos; allow me to download the published combos of other people. Basically, the "color and settings" page of Protopage, only with sharing.
My friend had an idea for a Microsoft Hackathon that I'm at: a CEO finder. I wanted to extend that idea to a CEO Grindr - for those quick and intimate entrepreneurial encounters.
I think I recently heard about an app attempting to do this. Basically it pulls your linkedin profiles and then adds location. If you want to meet someone nearby, you say that you want to meet them. If they say that they want to meet you as well, you get more details or are allowed to message or something.
Think about things that could be added to websites universally that people need. For example, I just used http://mixitup.io/ for a filterable portfolio for my new site. Think about things that can make interacting with any website better but people (read: web designers) don't know how to code or want to code. Then throw it up on code canyon in the end and hope people buy it. lightboxes, contact forms, interactive javascript forms, sliders, etc.
Then do a chatroulette with HTML5 video and target for penises. Fill with fake girls. Then make ANOTHER chatroulette that's the real chatroulette without the penises. Because that concept was cool but there were too many penises.
You could create a more advanced version of yourworldoftext.com... That website lets anyone communicate and you can even make your own chat by typing it in in the url. It has a very basic format and I would love to see someone create a better looking version that has more to offer.
This sounds like a plausible idea. How about discussion threads that are specific to the page? For instance, "domain.com/politics" would be a thread of people hating on the current president, and "domain.com/reddit" would be full of people complaining about how my site isn't Reddit. It could be a disorganized, anonymous discussion board.
