I've only come across Tiny Desk Concerts sporadically. That OK Go one is amazing. Now I'll have to watch them all. What a burden.

They were the cool people you wanted to know if you were a younger student.
Yes, that Kishi Bashi one is amazing! I had two people in my highschool who are into music now. One goes to a fancy music school in the capitol and the other managed to get into the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in NYC. He's a badass with a piano. But not NPR-Tiny-Desk-kind of badass. Yet.
