Chinese scientists have successfully developed a new cheaper way of getting connected to internet by using signals sent through light bulbs instead of radio frequencies as in ‘Wi-Fi’, a move expected to radically change process of online connectivity.

If someone walks passed your computer and casts a shadow upon it, will you lose the signal? It sounds like it. Either way, this is pretty remarkable stuff. I kept wondering, "is this real?" Is it?

Yeah, I agree. Why don't we use signals that can pass through human skin such as gamma rays? /s The light could reflect off multiple objects if the "main connection" is broken. However, you bring up a good point in the sense that you would have to have it installed in every room of your home.
