I believe it's like life before birth.

This, though it's interesting to note that all of the matter and energy that makes up you has been around since the beginning of the Universe in various forms and will be around until its end.

Sounds very amniotic fluid-y. No thanks.

I guess I technically mean pre-cortex and all time prior. Our familiarity with non-experience is comforting to me. Actually we get some of it each time we sleep.

Hi tng, dropping into this conversation of morbidity. mk says

I believe it's like life before birth.
I would think so. Although when my daughter was very young and just learning to talk, maybe two and a half, we had this conversation:

Me: What are you doing.

Aha: Thinking

Me: About what

Aha: About that place

Me: What place

Aha: The other place - before I was here.

aside from that, I agree with ecib

Edit: My daughter's name is Aha, I'll explain some time.

Was she born around the time "Take on Me" was popular?

I didn't hear about the band or the song until a few years after she was born,- but bizarrely the song was released in England the year she was born. A weirdness of synchronicity. No correlation.
