This morning, for no apparent reason I became nostalgic for Missoula Mt, the town where I lived for 5 years while I attended the University of Montana. (Go Griz)

I began thinking about the town and my experience there and what made it unique. Missoula is a small town by most standards, nestled in the foot hills of the Bitterroot Mountains and just south of the awesome "Glacier National Park". The town hosts the Clark Fork River (an offspring of the mighty Black Foot River) and two prominent hills Mt. Sentinal and Mt. Jumbo. It's a liberal leaning college town surrounded by genuine cowboy towns, mining communities and places where the cattle out number people 5:1. It's an interesting scene full of many interesting people. But one of them stands out in my memory.... The Leprechaun. Read this link to learn more about this unique Missoula character.
