A while back, barradarcy posted a poem that resonated with me and I asked him if I could use his words as lyrics to some music I wrote. I was thankful that he said "yes". I recorded this song pretty quickly and would like to re-record the vocals and get them to settle in to the song better in certain spots.

It was nice collaborating with someone like this, I really enjoyed it.

Side note: I'm not much of a drummer but I really enjoyed recording the drum track to this. I can hear a horn section being placed at the end of the song. I think I'll work on this one some more. Thanks again barradarcy, I love your words. If you have any others you'd like to share, I'd be happy to collaborate further.
