This is the reward for living in Holland. As a child you get to hear this story, and as an adult you get to turn around and repeat it. As an added bonus, the government has thrown in legalized drugs and prostitution — so what's not to love about being Dutch?

I posted this after seeing insomniasexx's post about This American Life. I've been a fan of the program for years now and it's where I first discovered the writings of David Sedaris. This piece from Esquire is even funnier when you hear the author read it aloud. Sedaris has a great story tellers voice.
