Just got back from a great Hubski meetup with about 25 of you guys. In my dreams.
The most vivid part of the dream that I recall involved "us" in the parking lot of a strip mall sitting in folding chairs at folding tables, playing some games. Someone passes out pencils and paper, and says "Who can come up with the most differences between the numbers 5, 8, 9, and 13? It can be any difference, any difference at all." Frustrated at the open-endedness, I struggled to churn out "If you have 9 kids instead of 8, not everyone gets a slice of pizza," and "9 is the only number of the group not in the Fibonacci sequence." The girl sitting across from me wrote down fifteen differences. I thought she was brilliant.
At some point in the dream, we're all skiing down a mountainside, and one dude, rolling balls on some grade-A MDMA, decides to ski through a live minefield. Backwards. It's OK though, he made it.
There are other parts to the dream, but specific Hubski usernames weren't ascribed to specific dream people. There were only a few more guys than girls in attendance, maybe 15 guys to 10 girls. I guess that reflects how my subconscious views the demographics of this site.
Anyway, it was a pretty good time. Thanks?
