Kind of made me think about cultural memes. This seems to be the work of someone who was a little 'off' mentally. Paranoid even. What is interesting is that the decades long sporadic expression of his paranoia and message through little tiles got traction in our almost infinitely noisy world. Just the fact that I was reading that in depth about those tiles kind of amazes me. A lot of art tries to express cultural truths or tries to speak to broad or universal human conditions...it's kind of cool that this guy's little slice of paranoia pushed though...
