Today brings a new way to discover content on Hubski: global posts.

Previously, to find content outside of your feed, you had to peruse either ‘popular’ or ‘unshared’ posts. However, many users commented that this design left a feeling of a ‘gap’ between the unshared and most popular posts on Hubski.

In fact, gq~ and I had a discussion about this yesterday, and she suggested a very nice solution.

To improve the ability for users to browse the greater Hubski ecosystem, we have replaced the ‘popular’ and ‘unshared’ pages with a ‘global’ post page.

Clicking on the ‘global’ link in the left menu will bring you to a time-sorted list of all posts that are not in your feed. These global posts are divided by their popularity. Clicking the hubwheels on the upper right will return global posts with the respective popularity.

As always, feedback is welcome.

p.s. In your ‘controls’ you can select to have some global posts filter into your feed. We replaced the term ‘external’ with ‘global’.

Pretty damn awesome. Suddenly I realize there's a shit-ton more on Hubski then the part I was exposed to. Good times!

Thank you so much mk, practically every update is a blessing and an improvement on the already great.
