Those who accept Jock Culture values often go on to flourish in a competitive sports environment that requires submission to authority, winning by any means necessary and group cohesion. They tend to grow up to become our political, military and financial leaders.

mk: It's interesting, and there's some truth in this. But I don't think looking at life through this lens is helpful. I'm most definitely a puke, and my brother is a jock. However, growing up, I had a good time with his social circle and he with mine. Pukes become leaders too, but I think it's more by creating structures rather than moving up through existing ones.
