As I mentioned over yonder, I'm putting together a brief guide on U.S. civics and the legal system for a refugee resettlement agency in my area.

I'll be presenting to the organization's staff next month, but I'd also like to maintain an online presence for this. My hope is both that I can continue to add to it and that it can be useful as a resource for other organizations and individuals going forward.

To that end, can anyone recommend a good hosting platform? So far I've looked at:

- Read the Docs. I like the platform and philosophy (and being able to use GitLab to store the underlying files is nice), but I'm not sure if it's the best fit given that it's mostly focused on software documentation. I have an e-mail in with them to see if they're ok with non-software stuff on their platform.

- GitBook. It's more generalized, which is nice, but it also uses Google's servers to host everything, which I'm not super wild about.

- Self-hosting. I already have an account with Vultr for my personal NextCloud instance, so it wouldn't be too costly to add another virtual machine and get a custom domain. I've debated consolidating the 18 places that I blog into my own domain for awhile, but I'm not sure if it's actually worth it. This would of course have the advantage of being much more customizable in terms of my workflow and everything, but would also be more work and more money (even if a little).

Has anyone found anything else?
