Man, I hate that you have to have an entire strategy about when someone is allowed to interrupt your vacation. The whole 'mindfulness' section seems like a pipe-dream when you have a work machine, and management has defined hours that you're essentially on-call for.

I'll add the strategy of reminding team members during standup (if you do standup) that you'll be out of the office, and documenting any critical procedures you don't have time to write a script for! Had to interrupt a coworker's vacation the other day because a private RSA key was on his (very much locked) computer, and we needed to talk to that API pretty urgently. C'est la vie, guess that makes me part of the problem huh?
