I don't think that we can say that capitalism is killing off the bourgeois. In fact, the bourgeois might be killing capitalism. IMHO, what remains to be seen is if people can force their governments to reign in the bourgeois so that inefficiencies of monopolies can be undone. To me, in the US, I feel that capitalism is actually dying, not eating us up.
