Yeah, the voiceover in there is Stan Lee. I recorded it. A friend said "Lloyd needs a soundguy Thursday. On the downside, Troma. On the upside, Stan Lee. Wanna go?"

So I showed up for a Troma shoot with Stan Lee. And I hung a boom over him, at his desk, and said "Mr. Lee, can you give me some level?"

"What do you want me to say?" he said.

"Let's start with 'this is Stan Lee.'"

"This... is Stan Lee," he said.

I paused. He was clearly playing along. In my head, I said

You have reached kleinbl00's voicemail. Please leave a message after the beep.

But I'm a professional. Instead I said

"That was perfect."

A number of people haven't recorded voicemail greetings for me. Morgan Freeman, Lou Gossett Jr, Shirley Jones, Reba McIntyre... But man. It was a Troma. You aren't supposed to be professional. And he probably woulda rolled with it. He was totally awesome.

Somewhere there's a picture of me with him. I never got it.
