Concussion in Rugby is finally being focused on - laws are being altered to crack down on head contact as much as possible. It's forced people to reinvent their defensive structures and overall style, but I hope it leads to something positive.
I've had three concussions, I think. Three that forced me from the field at any rate. Broken ankle, wrist and nose; countless scars on my back from when aggressive rucking was allowed. But the head knocks man, fuck that scares me now. One is too many, what am I going to be like when I'm 60?
