I was definitely excited by what I saw -- I love this asthetic, and I'm glad they didn't try to do anything different for the sake of difference. CD Projekt Red has a better understanding than any large developer, IMO, of what makes games compelling and enjoyable. Part of that is recognizing that setting supports a story, but it doesn't replace it.

I'm also glad that they're sticking to the "when it's done" release date.

Obviously I'll wait to see what happens when it actually drops, but this and Scorn are enough on their own to make me glad I bought a new computer.
