538 goes into data on Broadband and how it is so difficult to get real data on internet access.
Okay yeah but
It's not like census tracts are huge. The grocery store (which my 5-year-old daughter has walked to several times) is in a different tract. Her school, which she has also walked to, is in yet another. Her old daycare, which we have also walked to, is in yet another. It's disingenuous to suggest that TIGER data isn't granular enough to cover neighborhoods; they're sized for accurate population measurement.
