So this is pretty damned cool. The game that it most reminds me of in a lot of ways is actually Monument Valley, even though the actual gameplay is pretty different.
Engare's levels are about drawing a shape. Not necessarily a complex one. But where it gets tricky is, of course, the way in which your tools are limited. You've no doubt seen those animations of the way a single point on a rotating circle, if traced, will show a sine wave.
Engare is about doing that, only with a variety of shapes and trying to make a variety of "drawings" that way. The aesthetic borrows heavily from Islamic art, and it has a soundtrack to match (apparently the sole developer is Iranian).
It ends too soon, but for only $6 is well worth it.
