Bombardier’s CEO Alain Bellemare said during a press conference Monday evening that the U.S. assembly line will allow the aircraft to “become a domestic product, for which you have no import duty applied to a domestic product.”

There, see? If a government-subsidized multinational buys into a government-subsidized multinational and then moves production to a right-to-work state with terrible wage laws and worker protections, the US government can't impose import tariffs on it because now it's a domestic product!
