2. It's public. Meaning that they are sharing their plans with the world and the USA. To me, this speaks of having distilled their plans so thoroughly that they believe that even after announcing their intentions, the USA will be unable to fight. ... Maybe they hope that the USA looks at this and decides to change their path?

3. I keep hearing rumblings from financial professionals that the economic situation in the USA is dire. After reading this, I think it's worse than dire.
