The problem is that there IS no solution about these AI situations. Extreme job loss is going to happen, whether we believe it or not. So the issue is that we have to get behind a decent living income for everyone. $1000 a month is NOT going to do it at all; that's a starvation wage, and everyone knows it too, but they think that's all we can afford. No -- that is why a mix of communism and capitalism is the only way; and robot labor can be taxed, and we can afford to do what we really want to do -- $5000 a month for everyone, which is very tenable with robot taxation.

And military AI and the horrible arms race to the bottom, for the US and for Russia and China (the big kahuna) and ISIS and al-Qaeda and others... It's a mess, and it will get ugly very quickly for everyone. The only possible choice is to have a true one world government, and clean up this AI mess once and for all -- even though I didn't have it as a real possibility with AI off the table. We do not have to worry about the military getting behind AI if we truly believe and can act NOW on one world government for all -- then it's moot. We CAN do it if we get truly behind it, but it needs to be genuinely, absolutely serious. No more BS; it's really now or never, before the Chinese have their day in the sun.
