An interesting read, but I don't like the gatekeeping in the article, it feels too much like "It doesn't count, they're not _really_ straight so they should just admit they're gay or bi" but I can understand the authors concerns.

    While Ward sidestepped the question of her subjects’ “actual” sexual orientations — “I am not concerned with whether the men I describe in this book are ‘really’ straight or gay,” she wrote — it should matter.
