In what is one of my favorite pieces of fanfiction, the author explores the theoretical first contact between the crushingly benevolent Culture of Ian M. Banks fame and the reality bending, psychotically violent and irrational universe of Warhammer 40K, where in the grim dark of the future, there is only war.

Lots of fun for fans of either universe, especially fun if you know/enjoy both.
