The news media is really kinda getting it's shit together after so long of chasing views, I hope. The very quickly expanding mistrust for them by almost all groups is going to force them to change and push the idea they are a truly neutral or otherwise factual source of information to get attention/trust again.

I think we are at a huge breaking point for the press/media, along with sites like facebook. We've forgotten that misinformation is inherently harmful to our world, media, culture, and status in the world, and we've forgotten to teach and enforce these ideals, among others, in our children by the strong focus we have put on education being factual/test-based rather than cultural and ideological.
