Two things about this thought piece that I'm not buying:
1) That Roger Ailes will somehow double the viewership of Fox News simply by having Trump
2) That congressional Republicans will be more supportive of Trump as a loser than as a winner
But it's a fun read nonetheless.
If I recall correctly, you've mentioned before that the Sanders movement (and partly the OWS movement), while having lost focus and a mission, will likely resurface at a later time in some shape or form (e.g.). What's your best guess about the future of whatever remains of the alt-right? On the one hand, it's a disaggregate bunch of deplorables; but on the other, it's a force majeur of hate.
