I've had a cold the last few days, which has meant a lot more downtime at home. This coincided with a Paradox sale on Steam a couple weeks ago, which is ever a dangerous thing for my wallet. I picked up Hearts of Iron 4 plus a bunch of expansions for Crusader Kings 2. I still don't have Stellaris yet, I'm waiting for that one to come down in price some (read: I'm a cheapskate).

I finally feel like I'm figuring these here grand strategy games out. I won't go so far as to say I'm good, but I'm not abjectly terrible anymore. My brother and I bought HoI4 with the idea of playing that, but then Starbound went on sale a few days later, and we've gotten hooked on that. I have a co-worker I occasionally play CK2 with, but our schedules rarely line up.

To that end, does anyone here want to get some MP going? My own availability is best on weekends, but I do usually have a couple of hours after about 7:30pm EST on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays as well.

Stellaris.... Man I ma so conflicted on that one. I've won twice. But it is missing... something and I an not sure what exactly. The 1.3 update is going to change a ton of stuff so I hope it gets that last oomph it needs to be amazing.

I am looking forward to Civ 6, but there is no way in hell I am going to preorder after Civ 5. Civ 5 sucked at launch, and it was not until Gods and Kings that the game really became an 8.5/10 for me.

I have 500 hours into Galactic Civ 3 and regret none of that time well spent.
