_refugee_ encouraged me at some point to get on the SBA's mailing list. Rarely is it useful. Primarily it shows you impossible-to-get resources that will help you make money off the GSA, should your business be one that can sell shit-tons of widgets to the government.
But occasionally they give helpful little tidbits like "Did you know that FEMA can help your business prepare for an active shooter situation?"
The best part is the "get together with your coworkers and come up with a ten-point bulleted list to determine who among you is likely to take an uzi to the place."
That, or the spectacular stock photos.
Spent the past couple of months making my entire department do active shooter training videos. Ours did not include deciding which of us was likely to Uzi the place up. That kinda makes me sad.
