As is rather typical these days, this article is an over-reaction based on hysteria, misinformation, and a rather tyrannical march to trample the rights for anyone that does not agree with the direction, and position of the GLBT lobby and their threats against anyone who does not agree with their position. This was truly a misdirected edict from the Charlotte City Council when they passed the "mandate" for every business and enterprise.

They are as hypocritical as they say the people who don't agree with their position are. In some states, their tactics border on the fascist model in its simplest form:

Simple Definition of fascism

• : a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government

• : very harsh control or authority

PayPal, and other business entities completely misconstrued the intent of protecting privacy rights based on common sense, and took inane action accordingly. Hopefully, now that the Governor has signed an executive order to "clarify" the intent, the will reconsider. Otherwise, I think I will cancel m PayPal account. They acted hysterically and based on, I believe, purposely misworded statements from those who seek to control every arena of everyone's life that does not agree with their agenda. Here is Governor Pat McCrory's clarification on the matter:
