Bats

Up in the sky

There were two black bats

They flew in wide circles

Around our chimney stack

I said, "dad, get rid of them."

He said, "I wouldn't dare

We are very lucky to have those bats up there."

"Won't they bite us?" I asked

My dad said, "no"

He told me they eat all of the

Mosquitos

I said, "Yuck, they eat mosquitos

What a silly thing to do."

He said, "better they eat the mosquitos than the mosquitos eat you."
