Anyways, I found this article interesting because you usually only think of the shooters and their victims - not so much their parents. Now, maybe it's just my own upbringing that made me believe parents are generally useless - not even in a malicious way, just no-clue way - but reading about Ms Klebold's experience has given me a very different view of the people who commit these shootings, and how that affects their loved ones.

I think it's also paramount to humanize even murderers, because that is the only way we will ever find true solutions instead of posturing. I remember a school shooting here where the chancellor called it a "senseless crime". That kind of made me angry, because it obviously wasn't senseless to the person who committed it, they had their reasons!
