(Subject: muted)

Hi kleinb00,

I would love to be able to communicate on your posts. I enjoy them a lot.

However I am muted... This hurts because I don't understand why it happened.

Would you please explain what I did wrong so I can avoid upsetting you again? (If that's what happened.) I also don't want to trouble other people.

In the interest of community,

I am a little confused about what happened. I said some tongue in cheek things about Linux in irc and then disagreed with +kleinb00 about whether medicine and economics are comparable. I've worked in both fields for a fair amount of time, so I was speaking from experience and not just being contrarian, but I guess it can across differently because they blocked me response.

There is no way to recover. The block prevents me from talking with other people in their threads. Given our overlap in interest and their centrality in this community, the effect is that I'm ejected from what I can contribute to. This is sad and I don't think it's right to make another account to rejoin the discussion. And, it would be Sisyphean to repost the same kinds of things when the rest of this thoughtful web is already talking in their post.

I feel there might be some kind of misunderstanding, but I can't message them to resolve it. So, I'm reaching out. I'd like to apologize for troubling them and won't directly reply to them anymore unless they tell me it is OK. But perhaps I could write to other people under their posts?

I probably should just go. I've been asked to leave and I don't want to upset someone by being here. I felt happy about hubski, but now I feel sad when I think about it.

It seems worth mentioning that this kind of thing is happening. Maybe there is another way?
