JTHipster: This seems like an incredible advancement, and the fact that it currently takes up something the size of a room might not be such a huge stepping stone to get over. I think this'll radically change how computing works; its not unreasonable to have levels of artificial intelligence that rely on huge amounts of computing when using a computer that has the complexity of the human brain and is roughly the same size (or even smaller).

What I'd be curious about is how they handle heat, or if the computer even produces noticeable heat. This also brings up the idea of a technological plateau; if you have a computer more powerful than one which could encompass the universe, where do you go when that computer is integrated in to the human body? I'm rather excited.
