It's short (well 175 pages) and sweet and sci-fi and computers and singularity and sex and violence and violence and it's fucking lovely. You can read the entire thing on his site: http://localroger.com/prime-intellect/mopiall.html

I highly recommend it.

If you guys have any interesting recommendations, I'd love them, since I just got a Kindle Fire ( :DDDDD ) I prefer shorter things because my attention span is spastic and I usually end up starting something new rather than finishing a longer book. I love sci-fi but have read most of the generally accepted "best" ones. I am slowly making my way through this reddit thread because there's some ones that show up there I haven't read yet.

I am especially obsessed with singularity right now (I read Kurzweil a couple weeks ago) but I trust your judgement for good reads.

b_b: I just finished The Man in the High Castle a couple weeks ago. It fits your criteria: awesome, sci-fi (well, sci-fi-ish), sexy at times, violent at others, short; I read it in a weekend. And its Philip K. Dick, so you really can't go wrong.
