There's a battle going on in bitcoin ATM with DoS attacks on BitcoinXT nodes.

The plan is a hardfork to BitcoinXT if the number of blocks added by BitcoinXT nodes reaches 75%. Thus anti-BitcoinXT folk are trying to prevent that.
