_refugee_:

What if instead of subscribing to static genders we just accepted that throughout life people may identify differently and treated them with respect regardless of how they may identify or present and also stop acting so much like genders consist of two boxes and everybody can only go in one box ever forever on without end, amen, amen?

In the meantime, I do think that for children and young adults whose bodies are still developing, plastic surgery should be at least heavily discouraged, if not totally verboten. I don't believe we should make permanent alterations to bodies which are still in the rapid development of childhood and adolescence. I'm not a doctor but it seems like a bad idea to me.
