Amazing look into the structure of an ant colony. This is a plaster cast of a Florida harvester ant colony. This was the work of 5000 ants working 4-5 days. These ants make big tunnels and the soil is sandy, which allows the air to be forced into the soil so that the plaster can flow all the way down.
