Helmut Schmidt apparently lays down the Globalist view point, complete with obligatory kick at German scientists circa early 20th century (for maintaining the name Kaiser Wilhelm Society).

But the text also seems to have a very strong EU-nationalism subtext that runs counter to the globalist doctrine and the overt 'good solider' routine of the occupied Germany's ex Chancellor [1]. The last sentence is ~ interesting in that context.
