deanSolecki:

Yeah, no chance I'm reading a "you don't know how hard it is to be ME" novel from an anonymous misogynist.

What he fails to see is the response; everyone patting him on the back, telling him how brave he is for voicing the majority opinion (anonymously.)

What a fucking hero!

For those of us that don't think working with computers requires you to be an angry virgin, this sort of stuff is incredibly depressing. We aren't all self-pitying cowards. Some of us use or real names to speak our views on the internet; consequences be damned.

Seeing someone cry about how tough it is being in the majority is about as cringey as it gets.

Just stop. You're embarrassing ALL of us.

It is supremely possible to be both code-literate and morally upright. It's a shame that the internet victims of imagined crimes make it look so unusual.

For those that enjoy computers, games, logic, math, but don't inexplicably hate women:

You're not alone, and we need to speak up about the absurdity of this majority pity party. They're trying to keep the boys club intact, but fuck them. A little diversity would be a nice change.
