Today we are excited to roll out a major addition to Hubski: We now have mail!

In many ways, Hubski mail works like a simplified post: The sender creates the subject and the message, and once sent, the recipients and the sender can have a discussion in threaded comments below the message.

IMHO the coolest thing about Hubski mail is that you can add multiple recipients to a message. To do so, just list the users that you want included in the 'to:' line, separated by spaces or commas. Doing so creates a private group discussion.

You can see your mail by clicking on the 'mail' link in the top bar. To send mail, go to your mail page, and click 'send mail' in the upper right.

There are a few features that we plan to add to Hubski mail, but I wanted to start testing it out in this basic form before doing so. I'd appreciate your feedback, which will help inform us as to what might be added or changed.

Importantly, only those users included in a message can read the mail and comments. However, Hubski mail is stored as plain-text on our server and privacy is permission-based only. For that reason, please don't post very sensitive or personal information in Hubski mail.
