I found the passage above to be kind of eerie. Pharmaceuticals are increasingly getting expensive, yet in the article they never really mention the effect this has on the people taking the drugs. The passage above says that insurance could refuse to pay for a drug if the company didn't file the required reports, and what happens to the patient who may need the medicine in that scenario? Working in a local pharmacy you see the prices just go up and up without any real reasoning behind it.
