Thanks for posting this! I watched the "Year That Everything Changes" video and found really nice, just to see what 12 years old are worrying about, thinking about, dreaming about, etc. I'll definitely be checking out the rest of the series.

I wonder what the differences would be between NYC kids and those in other states, or even in other countries. A lot of what they said is universal but I wonder what the differences in perspective would be, I imagine British kids may be more pessimistic.

From what school experience I've seen (and my own) there isn't really anywhere for students to [learn to] express these feelings, it's interesting to see how they're using technology to do this with selfies. It's given me a great idea for lessons, have students writing a multimedia journal to learn HTML etc.
