Really the gist of the whole reading. I consider myself more Buddhist than anything else, but that's not saying much

The first thing the selection you pulled from that article made me think of was Eleanor Roosevelt. From what I understand of her, being beneficial to others was a major part of how she framed her understanding of the world.
