I realize that there are MANY artists, in fact perhaps most, that would either site directly or indirectly the Beatles as a major influence. What I'm asking is what bands have you heard that you hear the influence in a good way. Some times imitation is just imitation but other times it's flattery.

Emitt Rhodes was often referred to as the "one man Beatles" based on how much his voice sounded like Paul and the similar song structures. Many people probably recognize his song Lullaby

I should add that I realize Emitt Rhodes isn't a "modern artist".
