This was a nice article to read, I've barely followed the New Horizons story so this was a great way to fill in some of that knowledge; I had no idea it was only a fly-by let alone that it will potentially be checking out other Kuiper Belt Objects; it's going to be amazing to see what we learn from all this.

It seems Stern is a somewhat polarizing character, who is very passionate on certain subjects, perhaps to the detriment of others. Thank you for sharing this b_b!
