b_b: Is it fair to call it a "song", given how its presented on the album? I have most of what Pink Floyd released (pre-David Gilmour split, after which I don't really consider it PF anymore), and I think Wish You Were Here is probably my favorite album. That said, I think "Shine On" should be appreciated by listening to the whole album, which is only about 35 or 40 min anyway. Its short but perfect.
