This is an alternate contest to the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest (shoutout flagamuffin), in which entries write the worst first line to an imaginary novel.

The Lyttle Lytton contest caps submissions at 200 characters, giving the entries a different flavor than what you get in the Bulwer-Lytton contest, as you can see in this example:
