Rapid cements come in various types and you can get it from any builders merchants and can set in times ranging from as little as 30 minutes to an hour.

Nice to see a howto posted for those that don't know how to do this.

It could also be useful to leave appropriately-sized plywood laying around. It's more portable, can't be repaired because there's no damage, and has none of the trickiness of illegally pouring cement.
