The Postal Service could sign a deal with Google. When you send a letter in the mail, the post office can open the letter, and have a computer scan it. The scan can then be sent to Google.

The next time you visit Google, your search results can be influenced by the scan of your letter.

I am willing to allow some of my communication and web activity influence my Google experience. However, I'm not comfortable with my personal messages being automatically injected into that formula with no option to opt out even some messages.

I pay for Netflix, my phone, and internet. I think it's time to start paying for email.
