From the album Benji. the entire album is really fantastic, and this piece was my favorite off of it. The contemplative nature of it while almost free associating entire parts of his life he feels like talking about feels so human. You understand these little things that are really important to people and shape a life despite being so absurd in many ways.

IThis song fits in well with the persistent theme of mortality that dominates the album. I suppose that's why it feels so intensely real and honest throughout the song, because what makes us really examine our life and that of those around us more than the end of it?

I also think it's really good to listen to the track that follows this one of the album, Richard Ramirez Died Today of Natural Causes. Where the first is introspective into the value and importance of life and all the things that coalesce to make it what it is for an individual, the second is the anxiety-driven panic and fear of death and the quickly escaping time, first the fear of life being lived in fear of it being taken away and being hyper aware of death from evil, then the fear of time doing the same, and being more terrifying by taking away everything.
